Certified Hand TherapistJacob is originally from Leitchfield, Kentucky. He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s in Exercise Science. While working in a rehabilitation hospital, Jacob developed a passion for assisting people to regain their independence after a traumatic injury or illness. With that focus in mind, Jacob pursued his master’s in Occupational Therapy at EKU. After graduation, Jacob focused his efforts on upper extremity rehabilitation and attained his Certification in Hand Therapy in 2024. Jacob is now committed to providing specialized, high-quality care to patients with a wide variety of upper extremity injuries and disorders.

Certified Hand TherapistLizzie is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. She attended Eastern Kentucky University and received her bachelor’s degree in Occupational Science in 2019 and her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in July of 2022. In 2025, Lizzie received her board certification from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission. Outside of work, Lizzie likes to read, bake, hike, or relax at home with her husband, Cody, and two cats, Dottie and Rupert.

Physical TherapistJosh currently works at the Frankfort clinic. He is originally from Owensboro and received his bachelor’s in kinesiology from the University of Kentucky in 2015. He then attended the University of Evansville, where he completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019. Josh enjoys treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions with an emphasis on injury prevention and return to sport testing. In the past, he has worked closely with his professors to publish research papers in the sports medicine and injury prevention field. Josh is certified in functional dry needling and ASTYM therapy. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing, hiking with his family, watching football, and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats.

Physical TherapistBrian received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Exercise Science in 2016 from Bellarmine University before earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) at the University of Kentucky in 2020. Brian has worked as a therapist in both the outpatient orthopedic clinical setting as well as the home health setting. Brian continued his education by completing an orthopedic residency program and became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2024. He has been practicing for five years with clinical interests in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, and maximizing function after joint replacements. Brian has a passion for helping patients to optimize their health, fitness, and designing individualized plans of care towards enhancing quality of life. Brian loves resistance training, playing sand volleyball, competing in Spartan obstacle course races, hiking, and adventuring with his dog Cooper.

Occupational TherapistJenni is from Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Asbury University in 2022. She then completed her Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree at Spalding University in 2025.
Jenni is passionate about helping others and is honored to be doing so alongside the Commonwealth Hand & Physical Therapy team. She is dedicated to continuing her professional growth and is working toward becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
Outside the clinic, you can usually find Jenni hanging out with her pigeon, Dewi, riding her horses, exploring antique shops, or curled up with a good book.
